EXCERPTS:

Chapter 1: “Let Me Out!”…Looking at God’s big picture is very rewarding. His purpose for our lives is so much greater than us that we learn more about who we are and whose we are…A lot of our struggles are all about trying to figure out who we are as individuals, and the acceptable and perfect will of God. However, in the process of struggling in this area we indulge in a lot of wrongful behavior or in things that are not good for us…

Chapter 5: “After This Drink you won’t be Thirsty!”…The worn out Soul… There are many of you men who feel worn out because you were a player back in the day and now you are unable to please your mate… Stress interferes with the normal functioning of an organism in the body and produces some internal strain or tension. This is why we need to be empowered…Again there is a cultural and societal pressure for them to be in constant control of their life and family without room for failure. They grow up with gender schemas and stereotypes like everyone else, for example: only women cry and are sensitive and emotional and men do not cry and are emotionless. It’s these kinds of teachings that have many of us messed up emotionally today. What was considered abnormal behavior has become normal. Something to think about!…

Chapter 7: “God-Esteem & Our Behavior”...The spirit of fear is more severe than nervousness. Nervousness may come over you but it doesn’t necessarily have to cripple you into a state of solitude where you become immobile or anti-sociable. Fear can keep us from progressing because it focuses on the potential failure and risks of whatever we’re about to execute…

Chapter 16: “You Were In a Mess But, The Mess Didn’t Mess You UP”…He can transform anybody…If you believe that you are messed up then you will stay messed up by living that into a reality but if you believe that God is able to do the impossible in your life then, the mess didn’t mess you up…I’m sure some of you can identify with holding hurtful feelings and negative experiences inside that bothered you because you had difficulty arguing about it or difficulty articulating your feelings to confrontational individuals…

Chapter 18:”You’re Safe – Removal of the Veil“…The Present Suffering…We can connect our traditional focus on symptom alleviation to the transformative and redemptive ways in which God wants to use our suffering by applying the scriptures that fit our situation. There is a ‘Word’ in the Bible for every situation. Many of us have been through a Hellish situation and back! Check out Ezekiel the prophet’s call…

Chapter 21: “It Ain’t  Gonna Kill You, You’ve Been Anointed to go Through It“…Give birth to your vision and not death. Don’t try to backslide out of your dreams. That’s what the enemy wants you to do.  He wants you to forget about it and believe that you don’t have it in you to do anymore…

By The Way, The Devil is a Liar
